Pacific Coast Building Products’ Journey to the Cloud using SAP SuccessFactors Rapid Deployment Solutions

For Pacific Coast Building Projects (PCBP), the decision to move to the cloud for Human Capital Management was inevitable. Choosing SuccessFactors Rapid Deployment Solution for Employee Central was instrumental in allowing PCBP to successfully implement a robust solution for the move. Following PCBP’s journey to the cloud, attendees will hear about the importance of extending testing cycles to include end user community to gauge understanding of end-to-end process, as well as how specific data is used in payroll, timekeeping, or benefits processes in ERP to aid in assuring data integrity.

Building HR’s Value Proposition Through Effective Collaboration and Communication

HR Leaders are under increasing pressure to deliver more value towards business performance goals, and at times this desperation is manifested in excessive spending and a reliance on the latest HR Technology. While this technology can offer remarkable options, there may be an easier way to deliver value without the cost and effort of yet another implementation project. There exists an often underestimated key role in IT, a Relationship Manager, who can be invaluable to uncover, build and effectively communicate HR’s desired value. Relationship Managers not only provide alignment between business and IT, but ultimately uncover value for HR leaders by listening to their concerns, finding and delivering solutions to these real needs, and ceasing those projects that add no value. With experience as an SAP HR consultant and a Masters in Organisational Leadership, Werner has achieved great success through cultivating the role Relationship Manager, helping HR leaders cut down on systems spending and focus on relevant HR systems projects. This in turn resulted in HR achieving their strategic goals, including cost-reductions, productivity objectives and growing HR’s reputation as a valuable contributor. HR leaders and their businesses do not have to be labelled as good only for transactional duties. They can effectively contribute to their organisation’s bottom-line success and have a seat at the strategy table. In this deep dive, interactive session, Werner will:

  • Explore how it came about that we have these Relationship Manager roles in our IT Organisational structures
  • Provide a model of how to grow from a demand executor to a trusted advisor, and ultimately to a strategic partner who can effectively contribute to HR, delivering more value
  • Highlight the key competencies of a successful Relationship Manager
  • Examine how application knowledge of HR Data serves to substantiate the HR Value proposition
